Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)

The R.C.I.A. is the process by which adults prepare for the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist) through which we welcome them into the Catholic Church. It is a gathering of adults in a supportive, friendly atmosphere to share our personal faith stories, to learn the rich tradition of the Roman Catholic Church, and to engage in prayer and reflection on the Scripture.

  • Meetings: Sunday mornings and a weekday evening, September until May.

Please keep all our Elect and Candidates in your prayer during these weeks of Lent as they move toward full communion with the Church at the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday.

Gracious and loving God, whose love brings us to life and whose mercy gives us new birth, look with love upon these Candidates and Elect.

During these coming weeks of Lent, continue to strengthen them with your life-giving Spirit so that they may come to identify more closely with the Lord Jesus.

May Jesus become their wealth and wisdom, and may they know in their lives the transforming power flowing from his resurrection.

AMEN!
